Marking Previous Work

Grade - Digipack - 6
             Music Video - 22
             D
The music video is very dark but then there are blue flowers on the digipack which doesn't really go with the whole dark style. The digipack and music video don't really have a sub genre and although the image of the girl is the same through out with her being the main focus she has tried to hard to copy Kesha's image. The style motif of the digipack is her tattoos and femininity that is why she contrasts the two but it does not look like a professional piece of work.

Grade - Digipack - 8
             Music Video - 29
             C
The video has the dark lighting throughout and has very good lip synching. Although the camera work is not brilliant with a blurred focus, the video not being very clear and it includes shaky camera shots. One actor is very good but the others are not taking it seriously and let the video down. The digipack relates to the album cover with the boy being the main focus and it looking quite professional with a similar colour scheme. Overall it looks like a typical Arctic Monkeys music video.

Grade - Digipack - 9
